Fine Art
Custom framing for fine art can be clean and simple or rich and ornate, most importantly the design should enhance and preserve the artwork. A successful custom framing design takes cues from the colors and details in the composition as well as the period of creation. For example, use a gilded ornate moulding for a antique etching and a sleek contemporary frame for a minimal abstract painting.
Shown below are custom framing combinations we designed to enhance the color and composition of each work.

Photos & Portraits
Framing photography doesn’t have to be confined to a basic white mat and black frame. Photos provide us with a unique opportunity to personalize our memories with custom framing. For example, when framing family portraits, select specific moldings to relate to different generations. Frame a vacation photo with a molding pertaining to the location of the trip – for example, use bamboo to enhance a photograph from a tropical island vacation or an exotic destination wedding. Allow the subject, style and era of the photo to guide you to a frame design that truly enhances the art.

Sports & Collectibles
Show off that winning team jersey! Shadowboxes provide the perfect opportunity to showcase jerseys, t-shirts, and memorabilia from a special event. Shirts are hand-sewn onto mat board or linen and then mounted into a shadowbox, which provides space between the item and the glass. With our multitude of mat color choices, we can match team colors or provide a neutral background.
